I should really write in my blog more often. I tend to forget that it's even here. I think I do that on purpose though. Maybe I'm afraid of what will happen if I do keep writing.
I've been working out a lot more since school ended, I'm proud to say. The feeling of doing something good for your body is an amazing one. I'm happier just knowing that what I'm doing is productive and healthy. Of course I also just recently turned 21. So the past two weeks have been a rush of alcoholism and very little healthy choices. Now I'm nearing broke and body just wants me to go back to way things were.
For my birthday my mother took me shopping. She let me pick out all the things I wanted, and since we went to Walmart it wasn't hard to find a lot of seemingly cheap objects that totalled more than $100. I got some new workout equipment so I can keep up this healthy, happy routine. I think I like the pull-up bar more than everything else. It's fun to pull yourself up in a doorway (can't really explain why).
Path of Balance
Each of us has our own personal path to a better life we can choose to follow. This about my walk down that path.

Childhood Lessons
I had this thought in a moment of peace and decided to share it with you.
In our childhood we are taught important life lessons, the ones we use to avoid huge mistakes in our lives. Lessons that if remembered and referred to on a daily basis keep us safe when our parents aren't around.

Resolution
Happy 2011! Only 671 days until the end of the world! (2012 is a leap year after all) Of course that's assuming that the end of the world is December 21st. I've heard many other opinions as well.

Death in the Family
Today I failed as a father.
Fortunately for my unborn children, I'm not actually a father yet. Unfortunately for Emily and her pet fish Zia, I was acting caretaker of Zia. The story is pretty simple... it goes something like this:

A Not So Jobless Christmas
Having received a call back from the movie theatre I went in for an interview. I dressed nicely for the occasion since it was the only chance I expected to have at a job this month.

A Jobless Thanksgiving
Last week I quit my job. I had been working at a Subway for over a year, it was a simple job. The work was easy and in fact I very much enjoyed making sandwiches for folks. Sometimes customers could be rude or get impatient but I tried not to hold it against them. I would just picture myself in their shoes, no matter what kind they were wearing.
